Physician Testimonials
I left a very successful orthopaedic practice in Madison, Wisconsin (one of America’s most desirable cities in which to live) to join Wichita Clinic over 20 years ago. My wife and I have never regretted the move and have been very content living and working in Wichita. There are many opportunities to be involved in cultural affairs such as the Wichita Symphony, Chamber Music at the Barn, The Wichita Art Museum and many others. We have enjoyed being members of the Wichita Chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food and are enjoying a renaissance of fine dining opportunities that have opened up in Wichita the past few years. Although we love visiting New York, Chicago, Washington, and San Francisco, we plan to remain here in Wichita if and when I ever retire from my position at Wichita Clinic.

Operating in three counties (Sedgwick, Harvey, and Butler), more than 553,000 patient visits were made to Wichita Clinic in 2005.
Wichita Clinic patients enjoy and utilize a wide range of services, encompassing full-service Sleep Clinics and Labs as well as the specialized Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology, a Center for Advanced Eye Surgery and Advanced Aesthetics. These services feature diagnostic capabilities equivalent to those found in many large hospitals.

As a result, the Wichita area is a regional medical hub offering expertise in all areas of medicine to a patient catchment area of about 1 million people.
Two major medical centers, a veterans’ hospital and numerous specialty hospitals and clinics offer more than 2,272 hospital beds and employ more than 24,000 health care professionals.
The two major medical centers include Wesley Medical Center and Via Christi Regional Medical Center (comprised of St. Francis and St. Joseph campuses), both of which are Level I Trauma Centers and have over 1700 hospital beds between them.
