Jill is the 2009 recipient of the Kansas Alliance of Advanced Nurse Practitioners' State Award of Excellence for a Nurse Practitioner.

Jill is available to speak to parent groups about early childhood nutrition, picky eaters, family meals, healthy snacking and limit setting. Her presentation is titled "Family Friendly Feeding—It’s more than just the food" and is geared towards parents of toddlers and preschools, but can also be beneficial for schoolchildren.
